Caterina S. Tassara has served in multiple executive and business roles for well-respected organizations such as Volunteers of America, Tranquil Shores Foundation, Connections for Children and the LA County Children's Planning Council. She is a certified Trauma Informed Trainer, speaks Spanish and English, and served as a County appointed Children's Commissioner for Snohomish County in Washington state.
Caterina has vast experience building non-profit organizations from the ground up, developing evidence-based client centered programs, fundraising plans, and grant writing. Caterina's expertise is developing solutions that are culturally responsive and that foster equity for marginalized communities. She has worked internationally and has served on numerous non-profit Boards. Caterina is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is a graduate of the Executive Development program in Non-Profit Management through the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and has completed advanced M.A. level coursework in Organizational Management at Antioch University. She also holds a Certificate in Grant Writing from the Tampa Bay Nonprofit Leadership Center. Caterina is also bilingual and speaks fluent English and Spanish. |
