The Social Impact Solutions Group is a woman owned consultancy founded by Caterina Tassara, an immigrant who came to the United States with her family at the age of four to escape the social and political unrest in her home country of Chile. Driven by her family's sacrifice and a deep desire to give back, in 2015, she founded B Child-Centered - a youth focused social impact consulting group which has grown and evolved into Social Impact Solutions Group.

Caterina Tassara has served in multiple executive and business roles for well respected organizations such as Volunteers of America, Tranquil Shores Foundation, Connections for Children and the LA County Children's Planning Council. She is a certified Trauma Informed Trainer, speaks Spanish and English, and served as a County appointed Children's Commissioner for Snohomish County in Washington state.
Caterina has vast experience building non-profit organizations from the ground up, developing evidence-based client centered programs, fundraising plans, and grant writing. She has raised more than 5 million dollars in grants for her clients! Caterina is adept at developing solutions that are culturally responsive and addressing issues of social justice and equity. She has also worked internationally and has served on numerous non-profit Boards. Caterina is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor degree in Psychology. She is a graduate of the Executive Development program in Non-Profit Management through the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and has completed advanced M.A. level coursework in Organizational Management at Antioch University. |
